Sponky: Pants

Well, these pants have been languishing on my ironing board for at least a month, but I have finally got up the energy to finish them off.
These are based on Simplicity 4965, modified slightly for better fit using
Pants for Real People
. And these actually did work. The picture is not fantastic, but I am really appy how these turned out.
They are slightly low riding, synthetic in this incarnation, easy to wear, look reasonably professional (it is Brisbane, after all). I have made another pair in carmel pinstripe with a slight bootcut and an enormous brown button on the waist (for casual wear), and have splurged on some expenseive wool and suiting material from Gardams for the next two pairs.
